Been to Prison

Today is a really warm day in Melbourne, it is 30 degrees in the shadow and a little bit windy. Yesterday did we spend shopping in this wonderful city, I must say that I really have fallen in love with Melbourne. It is like any other big city in the world when it comes to shops, restaurants and bars, but all people is so much friendlier and they are not in so much hurry like people are in other cities. If I ever moves to a big city Melbourne would be number one of my list.

Today we have been to prison, well we haven't been caught by the cops, instead we have visit an old prison from the end of the 1800. In this prison did Australias most known criminal Ned Kelly been imprisoned and he also got executed in front of the other inmates by hanging. A part of the tour was a play/monologue where the actress played Ned mom, it was really really good.

We have now decided what we will do the closest days, it will include a visit to the famous Victorias Market tomorrow, and a whole days trip on monday along the great ocean road. On tuesday will we pick up a rental car and drive to canberra and the arrive to Sydney on Thursday, this is how the plan looks right now.

I have tried to find a antiqueshop in melbourne, but it seems nearly impossible, there are only shops dealing with old furnitures. I also have tried to find papers regarding antiques, but it doesn't seems like there are any good. On the other hand I did find a bookshop with a lot of really god books regarding Antiques, but unfortunately books weighs to much so I can't buy any and bring back home.

This is all for now, tonight we will go out and have a good bite to eat and then maybe catch a couple of scooners of beer.
